This breed is from District Tharparker and Badin in sindh province,extending along the RAnn of kachh to the nothern part of gujrat in India.Its a smaller strain.Locally called as kachhi,wadhiari, also found in thatta ans sanghar districts in sindh.
Physical Characteristics:
The body colour of this breed varies from silver-grey to darker grey .Males are darker at the shoulders,hump and hind quater(fig).The forehead is broad and slightly concave in the centre.The nose is slightly upturned,ears are large and pendulous,strong horns.Female weigh 350-400 kg.Midium size udder.Fairly good milk producers.Bullocks are prized as fast and powerful draught animals.The adult male weigh 500-650 kg.This breed serves as dual purpose: strong worker and good milk producer.
